Fall Fashion Guide

Saturday, October 24, 2015

I think it's safe to say that the weather in New York is now acting accordingly which is finally giving me a chance to wear a leather trench in the morning and not have to worry about burning up by lunch time.
With all the being said, lets get one to my key pieces for the fall.
ASOS END IT ON THIS Ankle Boots

ASOS END IT ON THIS Ankle Boots
One of my favorite textiles for this season is velvet and my favorite style of boot is almond toe, so when I saw these I knew I had to feature them in my list. Almond toe shaped boots have always been in style but recently have become more popular due to this years fashion week. The blue velvet fabric gives the boot just the right amount a pizzazz you need. Great for any outfit and extremely versatile

TOPSHOP MOTO Black Zip Ankle Coated Leigh Jeans

Coated Jeans will always be a staple for me no mater what season. A step up from the basic black jean, they look good with everything and make your outfit look clean and well put together.
Can't go wrong with looking chic

Roberto Cavalli Cashmere and Silk Shawl

If you haven't already, get up, go out and buy yourself a silk shawl. I say this because adding a shawl or scarf to an outfit looks so effortless. They're multi-functional, one day you can wear it as a shawl the  next as a belt; you really can't go wrong with that.  Also, If you're like me and only wear black, try to get a shawl with color that way you have the pop you need to your outfit.

SheIn(sheinside) Khaki Pockets Belt Corduroy Skirt

We all know what corduroy is, whether it's the book or the fabric. Growing up I wasn't a fan of corduroy at all! I despised it. I felt as if it made me look really geeky. As of now I love it. It's my other favorite textile for the season and for some odd reason wearing it makes me feel very mature.

Sneakers - Urban Outfitters

My favorite shoe/sneaker brand forever and always will be Converse.
I would always throw my chucks on with any outfit and it never looked wrong. They can be dressed up and down. They're one of those few sneakers that look great brand new or worn out. If you haven't already you need to make chucks a staple in your closet.

Saint Laurent Feather Jacket

You have your regular fur coat, but then you have statement fur (or faux fur) coat. The choice is yours. I'm all for trying out anything when it comes with my style. A statement fur coat is the perfect way to try something bold but also it being subtle because it's just a coat aka you'll be able to take it on an off. If you don't feel comfortable with a vibrant color such as green try maroon, still bold but a bit more conservative.

Alexander Wang Grosgrain-trimmed satin midi dress

Slip dresses give off that ultra feminine vibe, sexy (if worn right) without too much work. With me, you'll see that I love clothing that can be dressed for day or night and with one of these it's definitely possible. Not only do you feel like a Goddess when wearing one, you also feel extremely comfortable. No complaints over here.

Jonathan Simkhai Cutout textured stretch-knit turtleneck top

Can you go wrong with a turtle neck? No, you can't. That's why it needs to be a staple in everyone closet. If you're able to score one with dope detailing you're already one step ahead of the game.

Stella McCartney flared trousers

The color and the silhouette are simply perfect and definitely make these pants a fall essential. It should be noted that these massively popular pants will be great for those who want to discreetly hide some extra weight or inches, because it is difficult to see the true feminine forms in trouser’s folds.

As of now those are my fall staples for this year. I wanted to incorporate new styles and stay away from the usual plaid and Burgundy theme. I hope you found something you like and try one of these styles out.
